Rainy days may bring gray skies, but at SM Retail, we saw it as the perfect excuse to jam! SM Life Jam: Let It Rain turned the cloudy days into a celebration of music, collaboration, and the kind of energy that makes our workplace feel extra special.
Bringing teams together through music, the jamming sessions featured a vibrant mix of performers from various teams and branches across SM Retail. Whether performing solo with karaoke tracks or playing live instruments with their teams, each act brought something special to the stage, showcasing the creativity and camaraderie that make our workplace shine.
At the Head Office, we had talented representatives from across the organization, including SM Retail, SM Fashion, Sports Central, SM Appliance Center, Ace Hardware, Our Home, SM Store, SM Markets, and even a full band from the SM Retail IT Division.
Our branch employees also took the stage, featuring performances by the “Sessionistas” from SM Store Batangas, acoustic sets from SM Store Roxas, and even an employee from SM Store Megamall who brought electronic drums to accompany fellow performers.
SM Life Jam: Let It Rain wasn’t just a nod to the weather; it was a whole mood. Performers leaned into the season with heartfelt renditions of songs like Tuwing Umuulan at Kapiling Ka, Set Fire to the Rain, Raining in Manila, and Umbrella, creating a cozy, fun atmosphere that had everyone swaying, singing along, and feeling all the feels.
Teams showed up in full force to cheer for their own! Performers didn’t just collaborate onstage. They joined forces to make the entire event unforgettable. From soulful soloists to the powerhouse duets, every act brought the house down and was met with roaring applause and #SoMuchLove.
SM Life Jam: Let It Rain was a moment to celebrate the people behind the mic and the teams cheering them on. It reminded us that even on the rainiest days, we shine brightest when we come together, because at SM, #WeveGotItAllForYou.
