SM Retail turned its headquarters into a DELITE-ful healthcare hub during its annual Wellness Fair, guided by the theme, “Your Health is Your Best Wealth”. The two-day event brought together employees and healthcare partners in a shared commitment to promoting overall well-being.
The Wellness Fair featured a wide range of health services, products, and interactive activities. Employees had access to physical health screenings, vaccinations, wellness consultations, educational talks, and community-driven initiatives that supported both personal wellness and social responsibility.
One of the highlights of the event was the blood donation drive conducted in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross. In an incredible display of generosity and teamwork, 230 employee donors have successfully contributed a total of 103.5 liters (103,500 cc) of blood, helping provide life-saving support to patients in need.
Recognizing that wellness extends beyond physical health, SM Retail also organized a learning session on digital well-being. The wellness talk titled “Understanding Digital Well-Being” was led by Abraham Dela Cruz, Registered Psychologist and Certified Clinical Traumatologist. The session provided valuable insights on maintaining a healthy relationship with technology and highlighted practical ways to avoid the negative effects of excessive digital device use on mental health and overall well-being.
