SM Retail energized the start of the week with its 5 Minutes of Health activity for three consecutive Mondays. At the strike of the clock, employees across our offices and stores nationwide paused for a quick wellness break that includes basic stretches and chair exercises. These small moves brought a burst of vitality without interrupting the day’s flow.
The result? Our employees were refreshed and focused, ready to take on the week with sharper minds and brighter smiles.
Did you know that according to the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, just five minutes of light activity can lower stress levels, boost energy, and sharpen concentration? Even a quick stand-and-stretch helps counter the effects of sitting or standing too long, something every employee, from sales associates to office staff, can relate to.
Wellness also doesn’t have to be complicated. These mini workouts proved that anyone, regardless of age or fitness level, can make time for health and make it fun!
